I'll be honest....
I'm having a bit of an
identity crisis.
What? WHY?!
The person I was when I started this blog was...
well... much different than the person I am now.
That's not to say, though, that the person BEFORE is totally gone.
But I'm confused................
Do I want to blog about my home? My Little Monster? My passion for beauty & being a makeup artist?
Or do I want to blog about my trials and tribulations of being a new mom? Do I blog about how UN-organized I am (despite trying to ORGANIZE my life)?
Do I keep crafting and re-decorating - and the blog about it? Do I want to try and start a new business adventure centered around blogging and making our home clean and more simple?
Do I start over? Re-vamp and re-focus this blog? Create separate blogs (nahh, too much work) for all of my different aspects?
Does anyone even READ what I have to say... or CARE?!

I DON'T KNOW!
What do I do? "They" say the key to successful blogging is being true to yourself... but like I said before, I've changed.... I'm different. So... how is that possible?
I need to think on it.
I need a clear understanding of where I want this to go. I need to invest a little more time in what I'm blogging about, organize it a little better, and hopefully continue and grow.

ReplyDeleteone idea you could do is have a certain day for each subject. (example: Monday: home Tuesday: baby, and so on.) that way its your life and everything you have a passion for all in one spot. if someone doesn't want to read about a certain subject, they could just skip reading that day. Just an idea.

I love the blog the way it is. One day I read about C and the next about your new projects. Who cares if your blog isn't "organized". Nothing is actually organized anymore and thats what makes life fun. Keep up the good work mama!

ReplyDeleteI agree...do it all! As a momma you are constantly going to be changing and adapting. Trying to figure out who the heck you are now! Your blog should be about whatever you want...jumbled, unorganize and chaotic as life with a little one is :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with everyone above, do it all. Why specialize. It just makes it more fun :). If you want it more organized, maybe you can add tabs to your page for decorating, baby, organizing, life etc.
